Amy attended IROS 2016 in beautiful Daejeon, South Korea presenting at the following workshops:

-- Artistically Skilled Robots where she presented joint work with the UVA Music Department on data-driven sound design to accompany robotic movement

-- Robotics for the Elderlies: Involving Science, End Users, and Public Bodies where she presented joint work with the ASPIRE team on designing stylistically-appropriate motions for in-home robots.

-- Human Movement Understanding and Robotics where she presented an overall picture of the lab as well as recent work from the lab on relating spatial commands to kinesthetically meaningful robot poses.
